Test cake

Realising that I had much to learn I took a lesson together with my friend, Sussi, at Kagekompagniet in Rungsted (http://kagekompagniet.dk/)

Truly gustily colours, but we had so much fun.

And then my vey good friend, Henriette, had a birthday and demanded that I made her a cake - and naturally I obliged.

The piping of course is terribly - much too runny and not very straight - and not a bit like Peggy's but the cake tasted really good.

Upon returning from the UK - after securing a copy of "Pretty Party Cakes" for my self - I had a crack at it...

As I didn't know what sugar paste was, I used marzipan (what a pain!!!!)
