Layered wedding cake with swans
Of course my friend, Scott, is not a rose girl at all, but in my view she has the elegance of a swan, and as swans mate for life, I thought a pair of swans would make great figurines for her wedding cake.

Test wedding cake
A friend of mine's wedding was coming up, and I thought it would be nice to surprise her by making a nice wedding cake - but first a crash course in the art of rose making and creating layered cakes was required, so I signed up for a Wedding Cake Making Course with Special KĂžbmanden (http://specialkoebmanden.dk/).

Hello Kitty cake
In my building there lives a little girl called Isabella - and she loves cakes and Hello Kitty (in that respect she's not so very different from other small girls). It was such a joy watching her eat the figurine in two big bites - I could not have asked for a bigger or better appraisal.

Car cake
My wonderful nephew, Theodor, wanted a Lightning McQueen cake for his birthday, and my sister in law asked me if I could make one in royal icing.... Teddy rather thought it looked like Mcqueen's friend, Mater - humfr! The surplus icing was used to make a stripped cake, which both Theodor and I liked the most.
Spring cake with butterflies
One of the (many) cool things that Peggy does is piping butterflies, and I thought that a cake full of those wonderfully delicate insects would make a poetic spring cake for work - I believe I was right, even if the technical level leaves a lot to be desired.

Festive birthday cake
For my birthday in January (with is otherwise such a dull month) I wanted to try to make one of those festive bows I had seen Peggy make........ the cake was delicious!
